What seasonal positions are available at Lake Isle Country Club?
Lake Isle Country Club hires seasonal staff for positions including Lifeguards, EMTs, Recreation Attendants, Membership Office and Pool Matrons.
What are the job responsibilities for the positions available?
Lifeguard: responsible for the safety of swimmers and other patrons at the pools; valid Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications required
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): responsible for providing immediate medical care to sick or injured users of the facilities; valid EMT and CPR certifications required
Recreation Attendant (Green Shirt): responsible for general and light maintenance around pool complex areas and parking lot
Membership Office: responsible for processing memberships and selling daily passes
Pool Matron: responsible for cleaning restrooms and grounds
When can I submit my application?
Applications can be submitted as early as January. Most positions are filled before the season starts, but applications are accepted all season. Should your desired position be available, we will reach out via email. Be sure to monitor your email including the junk/spam folder.
What is the seasonal employment period?
Seasonal positions generally run from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with some roles extending from spring through fall.
Do I need to be lifeguard certified to apply?
No. Lifeguard certification is not required at the time of application. However, employment is contingent upon successfully completing a lifeguard certification course prior to working on the pool deck.
What is the minimum age to apply and are working papers required?
You may apply before turning 16, but you cannot begin working until you are at least 16 years old. Appropriate working papers are required for all employees who are 16 or 17 years old and must be submitted before employment begins. Working papers must be the green card for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Are these full-time or part-time positions?
Most seasonal positions are part-time and may include weekday, weekend and holiday shifts.
